Hiding 14 fireplaces in 200m2? Impossible! So, making a virtue out of adversity, we took advantage of the functional elements of this splendid terrace to integrate them into the design. Knowing that the owners are big rock’n roll fans, we used the fireplaces as supports for phrases and quotes related to the world of rock, transferring a unique and unexpected personality to the terrace.

In this case, the vegetation is only a counterpoint, since the perimeter has communal planters.

Its location makes it imperative to keep it open to enjoy an unbeatable view of Barcelona. For example, we converted the conventional pool that was already on the terrace into an infinity pool, raising the water to the same level as the decking. Taking advantage of this slope, we incorporated a chill-out area to enjoy summer evenings.

Its large pergola “sews” the upper and lower terraces, incorporating some of the chimneys as structural support. To finish it off we put a “cloud” of Tillandsia (air carnation) that will provide a virtually maintenance-free green cover.
